Harnessing the power of teams requires being intentional about the relationship between you, your people and the organization.

Team Coaching for Growth and/or Conflict

My approach to team coaching is not about ropes courses, trust falls or kumbaya; nor about creating rigid team processes.

I work with you and your teams to help them

  • learn how to challenge each other respectfully,

  • have tough conversations that are productive,

  • trust each other’s strengths, and be respectful of other’s growth areas.

I start with objectively looking into your operations and working norms by conducting a qualitative and quantitative environmental scan. Often, as leaders of a group, we think we know why things operate the way they do, but as Daniel Boorstin writes, “The greatest obstacle to discovering…(is) not ignorance but the illusion of knowledge.” Teams are complex and dynamic, where the sum of its individuals can be more than each as a solo part, especially in this 24/7 dynamic world.

Once we have insight on what’s working well and what’s not, we identify the best course of action and support, in service of bringing the team towards a clear end goal. Courses of action and support can range from addressing individual performance to conflict coaching to strengthening specific leadership skill.
